Wounded Warrior Project
What the wounded warrior project meant to me was, how the soldier's that fought in the war that got wounded from the war they were in had so many surgeries for their injuries, how they got that way in the war, and how they ended up after the surgeries. First, the way they got ended up in the ER, was not only the injury itself that happened, it was how they got hurt. One wounded warrior had 19 surgeries, and that was just his legs. Second, figuring out how they got there, was even worse than realizing that they had that pain happen to them. A different wounded warrior had been near a IED, and it exploded and burnt him. Lastly, this is what the wounded warriors have to deal with now. This one wounded warrior has to deal with people looking at him with weird looks, wondering what happened to him. So there are different reasons why people have to face life threatening situations.
Remembering 9/11
When the two towers got hit by the planes, i was devastated to hear that they hit, i was in school and we left early so the parents was not worried. When I got in my parent's car my mom and dad was acting weird, and they were going to the gas station, and got groceries. When we got home, the first minute they entered, they turned to the news. As soon as the television turned on, there was a plane that hit the building in the WTC. When that happened I saw my mom crying, because the news was doing live footage of the whole attack.

War is...
War is not needed, dying happens a bunch.
War is horrible, causing so much pain to people worldwide.
War is unsafe, exploding people, and killing innocents.
War is disasterous, destroying people's homes, and societies.
War is not free, disappointing to people that has to deal with changes in their live's.
War is unforgettable, succeeding in not forgiving and forgetting.
War is expensive, trying to buy all the supplies and weapons they need to fight.
War is long term, fighting day and night, from weeks to months to years.
War is harsh, screaming soldiers, leaders, and wounded men are all screaming different things, and makes listening hard to understand sometimes.
War is rediculous, fighting for the most pityful subjects.

book review for Vlad Todd: eighth grade bites
The book I read, "Vlad Todd: Eighth Grade Bites," is a very exciting book about this kid named, Vlad Todd, who is a vampire. Three things about the book would be, who Vlad's friend's characteristics are, who Otis is, and why Otis is bad in Vlad's eyes. First, he has a friend named Henry, and he is the only friend that Vlad has got in their school in Bathory High, Henry knows Vlad's dark secret about him being a blood sucker. Henry has been there for Vlad since he knew his secret, and Henry protects Vlad from most of his high school bullies. Second, in one point in the book, Vlad figures out that the English teacher that they had before disappeared, and a new teacher, Otis Otis, took his place. Otis would make Vlad feel uncomfortable at times. Finally, Vlad eventually comes to a conclusion that Otis is out to get Vlad. Then, comes to find out that eventually, Otis is Vlad's uncle, after Otis getting mad at Vlad. In order to find out what happens to Vlad after figuring out that Otis is his uncle, you have to read the book in order to find out. Also, I would like to recommend this book to all the people who like vampire books.
